Cacao Coconut Granola

Total Time:  35 minutes
Ingredients:

  • 2 ½ cups        Rolled oats, thick-cut

  • ½ cup            Shredded coconut, unsweetened

  • ½ cup            Chia seed

  • 2 T.             Cacao powder

  • 3 T.            100% pure maple syrup or honey

  • ¼ cup            Coconut oil, melted (melt in microwave or on stove top)

  • ¼ tsp.            Salt


Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

  2. Line baking sheet with foil (spray with oil) or parchment paper.

  3. Mix all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl until oats are evenly coated.

  4. Spread granola on prepared baking sheet.

  5. Bake in oven for 25-30 minutes, stirring half-way through baking. 

  6. Cool for 30 minutes and/or enjoy right away. 

  7. Keep in airtight container, at room temperature, 14-21 days.
